Privacy policy

Introduction
This policy explains what AcuoAI collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to the AcuoAI website, the intake chat, the IC playbook, the founder dashboard, and any workshop engagement our team runs with you. We try to keep the data we hold to what we actually need to deliver the service.
Information we collect
We collect the information you give us and a small amount of technical data. That includes your email address if you create an account or book a call, the contents of your intake conversation, payment metadata from Stripe (we do not see your card number), booking details from Calendly when you book a call with our team, and basic browser metadata such as IP address, device type, and referring URL when you visit the site.
How we use it
We use the information you share to run the intake, generate your IC playbook, prepare for and deliver your workshop, send transactional email about your order, and respond when you contact our team. We also use anonymized patterns from past intakes to improve our prompts and knowledge base. We do not use your content to train third-party models.
Sharing and disclosure
We share data only with the providers that run the service for us, and only to the extent each one needs to do its job. Stripe handles payments. Resend delivers transactional email. Anthropic provides the model APIs that power the intake and the playbook. Supabase hosts our database and authentication. Calendly handles booking. We do not sell personal data and we do not share it for advertising.
Data retention
We keep intake transcripts and deliverables while your relationship with AcuoAI is active and for a defined period after, so we can support refund requests, respond to questions, and meet accounting obligations. Specific retention windows are described in your account settings or available on request. You can ask us to delete your data sooner; see the section on your choices and rights.
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete the personal data we hold about you, and to object to certain uses. To make a request, email privacy@acuoai.com from the address tied to your account. We respond within a reasonable period and will not charge you for a standard request. We do not yet make formal claims of GDPR or CCPA compliance.
Cookies and tracking
We keep tracking minimal. We use a small number of first-party cookies to keep you signed in to the founder dashboard and to remember basic preferences. The current version of the site does not use third-party advertising trackers. Where the law requires explicit consent, you will see a choice before any non-essential cookies are set.
Security
We protect data with reasonable technical and organizational measures. Traffic to the site is encrypted in transit using TLS. Data at rest is encrypted by our infrastructure providers, including Supabase and Stripe. Service-role keys are kept server-side and never shipped to the browser. No system is perfectly secure, and if a breach affects you we will notify you promptly and plainly.
International users
AcuoAI is operated from the United States, and our infrastructure providers process data in the United States. If you are outside the US, your data crosses borders to reach us when you use the service. By using AcuoAI, you consent to this transfer. Where local law requires additional safeguards for international transfers, we will put them in place.
Children
The service is intended for working adults and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you are a parent or guardian and you believe a child has provided us with information, email privacy@acuoai.com and our team will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We update this policy when our data practices change. The last-updated date at the top of this page changes whenever we revise it. For material changes, we will give reasonable notice through the product or by email. Continued use of the service after an update means you accept the revised policy.
Contact
Privacy questions, data requests, and concerns can be sent to privacy@acuoai.com. A member of our team replies in plain English.
